The diffuse source pollution analysis is based upon a sectoral approach. A list of 8 sectors is provided below. Each sector should be analysed in turn, beginning at the top of the list and progressing down. Once all the sectors have been analysed a table documenting the extent of the diffuse source pollution in your area will be produced. It is advised that prior to beginning a sector the data requirements are carefully considered, and appropriate data is collated.
